New Year = New ME!

I am starting a blog to track my progress in my new health regimen. I will post workout's that I try, meals that I eat and all the other fun (or not so fun) stuff that comes along with living a healthier lifestyle. I know it won’t be easy, but it will definitely be worth it. I am hoping that by posting this, all my friends can keep me more accountable to the goals I set for myself.

I know this is a New Year resolution that everyone creates, to start exercising and getting healthy. I personally have not set this goal for myself because I know myself well enough to know that it was not something I would stick to. In the past, the only time I went hard at the gym and ate healthier was when I knew a vacation was coming up that required me to wear a bikini. If there is no vacay, there is no gym, simple as that. THAT however, MUST CHANGE! I am tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. Don't get me wrong, I am confident in who I am and how I look, but it is more of a feeling. My body needs some serious work. Seriously guys, I can barely make it up a flight of stairs without panting like a dog. I want to be able to SLIP on my jeans and not have to SQUEEZE into them to button them up. I want to sit down in my jeans and not worry about a muffin top hanging over the sides. I want to feel comfortable in my clothes, and not feel like someone wrapped me up in saran wrap. It's go time lady and gents... enough is enough, it's time to get healthy... I'm GETTIN SEXXY BACK YA'LL. And I am pretty friggen excited about it.
